From the web to your TV

No more cable or dish bills.  It’s simple to do, just connect your computer to your flat panel TV and watch all of your shows, abc, nbc, cbs, cnn, hulu, netflix, webcast, live streams, etc. virtually everything is available on the web so why pay for cable or dish and you can watch with very little or no ads and when you choose.

How to connect your desktop or laptop: first you need an HDMI adapter and an HDMI cord (they come in various lengths) plug the adapter into the back of the computer, hook up the HDMI cord to the adapter and plug it into the back of your flat panel TV, voila your flat panel can now become your monitor.

External speakers are also needed via the headphone jack, I use Bose speakers.

Making your flat panel into a monitor on a MAC: go to system preferences>Displays>Arrangements, two icons panels will appear representing both monitors, drag and drop the white tool bar icon from one panel to the other and you have it.  Bring your mouse with you to your recliner or couch and watch your shows, many available in HD.
